Dundee City Council is looking to procure the services of suitably experienced artists to submit proposals for public art to provide placemaking improvements along the upgraded coastal route; to encourage walking, cycling, wheeling and to provide enjoyment, comfort and protection.
Currently there are currently six separate commissions, with a range of estimated contract values (from £5k to £10k up to £150k to £200k). Dundee City Council is looking to gauge the level of interest for each of the commissions before commencing the procurement exercise. A Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been published on Public Contracts Scotland and can be viewed here: https://broughtyferryactivetravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/BFMAT-Public-Art-Proposals-PIN.pdf
